Trillium

Trillium Brewing was founded in March of 2013 by JC and Esther Tetreault with the desire to create a New England Farmhouse-inspired experience through the lens of craft beer. Launched with three employees and the support of family, friends, and community, our little brewery located at 369 Congress Street in Boston’s then-sleepy Fort Point neighborhood has grown to a team of nearly 300. Every member of our organization has incredible drive and purpose, working passionately each day to elevate the quality of the Trillium experience.

Ms. Clucks Deluxe

James Beard Award-winning chef Tim Cushman and advanced sake professional Nancy Cushman—the culinary power couple behind o ya and Hojoko—bring you this colorfully-named eatery, which specializes in delicious twists on chicken and dumplings. Only at Time Out Market Boston, Ms. Clucks offers numerous tantalizing choices when it comes to chicken. Options range from karaage chicken and waffle fries with miso-maple syrup, umami salt and yuzu kosho aioli to a crowd-pleasing Cajun karaage chicken sando featuring Nueske’s bacon. For a crispy, cheesy blast of edible fun, try the chicken, broccoli and cheddar gyoza that features a frico crust and comes with spicy miso dipping sauce.

Cusser’s Roast Beef and Seafood

You’ll be cussing at the moon when forced to pick between the critically-lauded lobster rolls and mouthwatering roast beef sandwiches at Cusser’s, which began as a street-side takeout window at the Back Bay’s upscale Mooncusser Fish House. Chef Carolyn Johnson is inspired by the popular roast beef and seafood shacks that dot the North Shore, and her gourmet interpretations of comforting classics will forever change the way you view sliced beef on a bun; here, the nourishing sammies are made with rare, all-natural wagyu and decadent toppings. Don’t forget to round out your order with crispy onion rings or hand-cut fries.

Taqueria El Barrio

The beloved Taqueria El Barrio concept initially debuted in 2019 from Chef Alex Sáenz and hospitality pro Servio Garcia. The brick and mortar location opened to great fanfare in the shadow of Boston University, and now Taqueria El Barrio has found a new home down the street at Time Out Market Boston. With flavors and ingredients reminiscent of Northwestern Mexico, Taqueria El Barrio serves up authentic Mexican favorites including gourmet tacos, nachos and quesadillas. Sáenz and his culinary team fills flour tortillas, made in-house, with a tantalizing assortment of lovingly-prepared proteins (carne asada, pastor, carnitas, birria, chicken, fish) and spicy vegan chorizo. Guests can finish off their meals with mouth-watering churros featuring toppings such as dulce de leche, sweetened condensed milk or Nutella.

BISq

Recognized by Wine Enthusiast as one of America’s best wine restaurants, Cambridge’s BISq serves an important role at Time Out Market Boston. Customers can enjoy fresh juicy chicken (perfectly fried or roasted and garlicky) plus gourmet sandwiches such as a savory Cubano or roasted pork with sweet potato, salsa and aioli.

Michael Schlow’s

With restaurants spanning the country, Michael Schlow is one of the most respected toques to emerge from the Boston dining scene this century. At Time Out Market Boston, the James Beard Award winner’s Italian Kitchen presents a menu full of simple, honest dishes such as “Mimi’s famous meatballs” with whipped ricotta and spicy tomato basil sauce, and baby artichoke salad with market greens, mint and chiles. Fans of Schlow’s dearly-departed Via Matta can reconnect with warming, authentic pasta dishes such as fettuccine Alfredo and rigatoni with spicy fennel sausage ragu.

When Nina and Raffi Festekjian’s charming Eastern Mediterranean restaurant first came to the South End, it wasn’t long before its flavorful fare made the neighborhood eatery a second home for locals. Enjoy wraps filled with slow-roasted za’atar chicken or overnight-braised beef, as well as craveworthy mezzes such as walnut harissa and baba ghanoush. It’s all delectable cuisine made from traditional recipes that feature the kind of fresh, authentic ingredients that will transport you to Festekjian’s cozy home kitchen.

Source

Since 2020, Source has been firing up Neapolitan-style pizza that’s tempted even the most diehard of downtowners to make the journey across the river into Cambridge. Owner Daniel Roughan and executive chef Brian Kevorkian place an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients to set their pizzas apart, the real differentiator here is the dough. Made onsite from a seriously spoiled “sister” sourdough starter, the bready base of these pies produce a bubbly, crispy crust with a satisfying chew. While fan favorites—like its highly Instagrammable, pepperoni masterpiece with vin cotto—have made converts out of many Bostonians, Source keeps bringing in the crowds with novel combos featuring fresh, seasonal produce.

Nu Burger

Get ready to sink your teeth into your new favorite burger. You’ll be the talk of your foodie circles when you introduce everyone to Time Out Market Boston’s first incubator project, a brand new, innovative approach to burgers from Chef Nina of anoush’ella. We are excited to give this chef we love, an elevated stage while introducing her talents to local meat lovers. Take a culinary trip around the globe with a juicy NuBurger as your guide, and if the all-local beef doesn’t strike your fancy, the spicy cauliflower burger might just change the way you view veggie burgers forever.

Time Out Market Bar

Keeping in line with Time Out Market’s mission to bring the best of the city under one roof, Time Out Market Bar’s beverage program highlights the people and places that make Boston a world-class city.

While taking inspiration from the menus and beverage programs of the market’s chefs, Time Out Market Bar serves up unique cocktails alongside a curated list of food-friendly wines and an all-star, all-local beer list. There are two bars conveniently located at opposite ends of the market, and with its killer eats and ample space to stretch out, Time Out Market is the best place for getting drinks with friends before or after a Fenway Park event. (The bars close at 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.)

There are plenty of non-alcoholic and low-alcohol options, including designer mocktails and kombucha on draft from one of New England’s best producers, Luluna of Pawtucket, RI.

Gelato & Chill

Good things come in small batches, especially when they’re whipped up by artisanal gelato master Vincent Turco. This bona fide gelatiere keeps things cool by using traditional Italian recipes and organic, local ingredients whenever possible. We’re talking smooth batches of tiramisu or Sicilian pistachio alongside orchard-fresh, seasonal sorbets, such as peach or blood orange. Hold onto your chopsticks Boston: You may never look at Japanese-inspired fare the same way again.
